The IWRS on a New Location
In January 2016, the IWRS staff will be moving to a new location – Dunajska cesta 156, Ljubljana.
At the new location, 35 staff members from the Sector for Fresh Waters and the Sector for Marine Waters will manage European and research projects as well as economic activities and the public services associated with collaboration in the preparation and formulation of methodologies. It is expected that only a third of the scope of work will remain tied to public service. The IWRS and its staff will also be preserving and relocating all of their references, which, together with the extensive knowledge and experience of the staff who will remain at the Institute, ensures reliable long-term development and existence.
The previous offices of the IWRS will be used by a new body within the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning – the Slovenian Water Agency.
